Saturday, May the 4th, Loverin Tamburin a Japanese Pop-Act played at the Hanami convention in Ludwigshafen.
With a delay of fifteen minutes, their appearance was announced and shortly after it the band entered the stage. Just Aya, the female vocalist was missing. But as the audience clapped, Aya followed and the first song started. Because of the line up, consisting of a drummer Igarashi Kouta, guitarist Fujio Ryo (dressed up as cloud from Final Fantasy), Fire as bassist and Akihiro on keyboard, the songs sounded a lot more Rock like so that it was fun listening to for people who are not mainly into Pop music.
But remarkable were the MCs. With the first Aya greeted the audience in German, which was very appreciated by the fans. For the later ones she had an interpreter, so everybody could understand what she wanted to express. With her charming personality it was easy for her to make the audience laugh and connect to her in more ways than just through music. But one MC was even more extraordinary: she stated she wants to hug everyone which lead to a surprising reaction: a few fans just entered the stage took her into a warm embrace. More wanted to follow but were asked to wait for the autograph session after the show.
Back to the music itself:
Loverin Tamburin performed several Anime theme songs and while the opening of Dragon Ball Z, the audience sang along as loud as they could, creating an atmosphere of connection. But also some non-Anime songs were played.
Here to mention the new song “runrunrun”. That song was written under the impression of their concerts in Italy, Swiss and Marokko and the connection and joy they felt with the fans.
The audience was asked to sing along the “runrunrun” part. The people tried but as the song is very new it was unknown to them and so there was no real chance, to sing along to that beautiful song.
Comparing MC and songs, Aya changed from a very charming self to someone radiating positives vibes and energy, together with her band. They all had a very intense vibrancy and obviously a lot of fun. So all in all the show left the impression of strength and warmth
